Parrish Dobson

Parrish Dobson has been photographing the Maine coast for over twenty years, particularly around the Penobscot Bay area. She works hard to create images that bring viewers to new places in themselves—quiet meditations on water, rocks, land, and sea. The distinctly beautiful qualities of light and air along the Maine coast infuse her work. Her fine art black and white and color prints have been exhibited throughout New England, and are held in several major collections. A long time teacher of photography, she is also the Head of the Arts Department at the Buckingham Browne and Nichols School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
