John’s latest black-and-white work strips away the non-essentials in the pursuit of the most elemental visual cues. The settings: Northern Maine’s Aroostook County, with its spare canvas of wintry skies and spacious farmland; and midcoast shores, with a emotional pallet of water and atmosphere.
